Speak Up exists to transform the world on behalf of the poor by creating a new reality for girls in poverty. They pursue this mission by building an international network of Justice Centers which speak up for the poor, particularly girls in poverty.
Looking Glass
Looking Glass Community Services offers a range of programs and services that may be creatively combined to serve children, teenagers, adults, and families. Our highly qualified mental health professionals evaluate each young person’s needs and recommend programs and resources to help.
Cancer Crushers & Leukemia Lymphoma Society
LLS’s mission is to cure blood cancers and to provide services for patients and families along the way. LLS spends about $50 million each year seeking cures for blood cancers and because of their research, people have more streamlined treatments and a better chance of survival. We are honored to help raise money and awareness for this cause.

Children’s Cancer Association
Founded more than 15 years ago by a family who has been there, the Children’s Cancer Association brings JoyRx to seriously ill children and their families, in the hospital and at home. When families need support, CCA is there with award-winning programs and resources, available at no cost to those in need, in Oregon, SW Washington and across the nation.
Autism NW
NWAF is committed to providing valuable and accurate education and information to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) as well as to families, caregivers and professionals of individuals with ASD. In the decade since its inception, NWAF’s efforts have dramatically improved the lives of many children with ASDs, especially in the Pacific Northwest area of the United States, but with important spinoffs of our work helping individuals across the country and around the world.
Local YMCA
For the “Y”, strengthening community is their cause. Every day, They work side-by-side with their neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
Children’s Outreach
There is an unseen tragedy occurring in our beautiful area. Children, through no fault of their own, are going without the most basic things they need. Diapers, clothing, formula, blankets, and toys are just a few of the items that are needed to help these children. With the support of many loving people, Northwest Children’s Outreach supplies these items to these very vulnerable children. Come join our team to stand in the gap for kids!
Dougy Center
The Dougy Center provides support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults, and their families grieving a death can share their experiences. They provide support and training locally, nationally and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.
Girls Inc.
Girls Inc. of Northwest Oregon inspires girls, ages 8-18, to be strong, smart, and bold. Our gender-specific programs and research-based curricula provide girls with the confidence and self-esteem to access a bright and economically-independent future. Delivered throughout the Portland-metro area, our programs help girls form a healthy peer network, achieve academically, and begin preparing for their future through girls’ group meetings, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and enrichment activities.
Make A Wish
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Born in 1980 when a group of caring volunteers helped a young boy fulfill his dream of becoming a police officer, the Foundation is now the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 65 chapters in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a wish every 40 minutes and has granted more than 174,000 wishes in the U.S. since inception. The local chapter serves children, ages 2 ½ through 17, living in Oregon and Clark County, Washington.
Boys and Girls Club of Portland
Since 1946, Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland has been providing thousands of young people throughout the Portland metro area with affordable, high-quality after-school and summer programs designed to help them develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. Our Clubs offer kids what they want most: safe, clean, fun places to go when they’re not in school; caring adults who respect and guide them; and challenging programs that teach them life skills and keep them engaged in productive activities.
Medical Teams International
We are a Christian global health organization that empowers communities to live full and healthy lives. We work with grassroots organizations, churches and ministries of health to ensure that our projects fit seamlessly into local contexts. Our volunteers, staff and supporters form a closely knit team that is deeply committed to facilitating lasting solutions for people suffering from disaster, conflict and poverty in 70 countries.
Raphael House of Portland
Founded in 1977, Raphael House of Portland is a multi-faceted domestic violence agency dedicated to fighting the causes and effects of intimate partner violence in a variety of ways. We offer emergency shelter in a confidential location, a 24-hour in-house crisis line, transitional housing and advocacy programs, non-residential advocacy in partnership with the Portland Police Bureau, and also work to bring an end to violence through community outreach and education.
East Portland Child Welfare Center
